Privacy policy

This policy explains what data My Official Links collects, why, and how you can control it. Data controller: my-official-links, usa — contact: contact@my-official-links.online.

Data collected

• Account: name, email address, password (stored only in irreversibly encrypted form).
• Sign in with Google (optional): if you choose this option, Google sends us your name, your verified email address and a Google account identifier. We never receive your Google password.
• Public page (which you choose to publish): display name, description, logo, links, phone numbers, address, photos and promotions.
• Subscription: trial and subscription dates, amount, transaction ID. Payment data (mobile money number) is entered on CinetPay and never stored by My Official Links.
• Statistics: a simple click counter per link, without identifying visitors.
• Technical: a session cookie strictly necessary for signing in. No browser fingerprinting, no advertising tracking.

Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the service, managing your account and your subscription (performance of the contract).
• Securing the service and preventing abuse: limiting sign-in attempts per email address (legitimate interest).
• Sending you service emails: address confirmation, forgotten password, reminders before the end of the trial or subscription (performance of the contract).
• Meeting our accounting and legal obligations.

Recipients and processors

Your data is never sold or rented. It is processed by: our hosting provider (Hostinger), our payment provider (CinetPay, PayPal for bank card or PayPal account payments) and, for displaying pages, Google (Google Fonts and Google Maps). When a visitor opens a public page, their browser therefore contacts Google to load the font and, where applicable, the map: Google receives their IP address.

Your public page is public

What you publish on your page (including phone number and address) is visible to everyone and may be indexed by search engines. Only publish what you are happy to make public.

Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. If your subscription expires, your page is suspended but your settings are kept so you can reactivate it; you can delete your account at any time. Billing data is kept for the legally required period.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, to object to its processing and to restrict it. From your account, the “My account” page lets you export your data and delete your account immediately. For any other request: contact@my-official-links.online. You may also contact the competent data protection authority in your country.

Cookies

My Official Links only uses a technical session cookie, essential for signing in: it does not require consent. No advertising or audience measurement cookie is set by My Official Links.

Security

Encrypted passwords, HTTPS connection, single-use confirmation links, limited sign-in attempts. Since no system is infallible, we will inform you of any data breach affecting you, as required by law.
